Service Description

Do you have some specific interests regarding farming? What are your interests? Raising sheep for wool? Milking goats and making cheese? Starting off your homestead with some poultry? Together, Amy and Eric Lum have over 6 decades of experience homesteading on Orcas Island. They are an absolute treasure trove of homesteading knowledge. Your tour will be led by either Amy or Eric, based on your interests. Once you book your tour, we will be in touch to learn what your areas of interests are. Tours are $250 for up to 4 people. Additional participants are $35 each. Your tour will begin at the farmstand, and last roughly 90 minutes. Payments can be made at the farmstand at the end of the tour. Please note that our tours take you into the heart of the farm -- which means there will be poop. Bring sturdy shoes (close-toed recommended) and clothes you don’t mind getting a little “farmy”. There is also a lot of hay -- take that into consideration if you have allergies. Please contact us if there are mobility issues, as we can customize the tour to suit your needs. Regarding COVID: The tour will take place outside or in open barns. Per Washington state CDC guidelines, masks are no longer required. If you would like us to wear masks during the tour, please let us know and we are happy to accommodate. All farm workers are vaccinated. We love our farm, and are excited to share it with you!
