The Lum Farm Stand is a friendly hub for all things produced on the farm: Meat (beef, pork, lamb and goat), goat cheese, produce, sheepskins and goatskins and other wool products. We also partner with other local farmers to help share the harvest, and you may find fruit from Brownfield Orchards, flowers from Fabled Flora and more.
The farm stand also is a fine little gift shop, with cards, mugs, tote bags, yarn, socks, and the needle felted creations of Bossy's Feltworks. There's always something new.
COVID precautions are in place: If you are unvaccinated, masks are required by WA state in places of business. Hand sanitizing required (not a bad idea on a farm at any time). The farmstand is a small space, so we ask that one group/pod enter at a time. Doors are kept open for ventilation.
Please note we are not available for drop-ins outside of farm stand hours. We have lots of chores! Please use the contact form if you'd like to make an appointment to visit the farm stand outside of regular hours, or see below for information on scheduling a farm tour.
FAMILY FRIENDLY FARM TOUR
45 min - 1 hour tour
One “pod” of up to 8 people
Visit our farm animals up close and personal. Goats, sheep, pigs, chickens and more! Tours will be lead by a farm employee who can introduce you to the critters and give you a fun and hands-on glimpse of life on the farm.
First and foremost we are a working farm. Our days are full and there are always chores to do. However, we have a heart for sharing the ins and outs of farm life. We’re pleased to offer tours by appointment.
Due to the pandemic, tours are offered to only one “pod” at a time. We have a limited number of tours each week. Please note that we are unable to accommodate tours via drop ins.
We also have a free self-guided Farm Walk available during Farm Stand hours (Thurs-Sat, 2pm-5:30pm). Visit here for more information.
TAILOR-MADE FARM TOUR
1 1/2 hours
One “pod” of up to 4 people
Do you have specific areas of interest regarding farming? Raising sheep for wool? Milking goats and making cheese? Starting off your homestead with some poultry? Amy and Eric are an absolute treasure trove of homesteading knowledge, and will custom design a farm tour for your interest.
Note: Farm tours are hosted by and representative of the Lum Farm. For more information about the Coffelt Farm Preserve, the land on which the farm is currently located, please visit www.sjclandbank.org.
